Welcome Letter
My name’s Olivia Jade (hence the name Jaded, but we’ll get to that). I’m 23, a dietitian nutritionist, and currently studying women’s integrative and functional medicine. But honestly, enough with the résumé talk (ugh, I’m so over that) … let me tell you who I actually am and why I made this page.
I’ve always been obsessed (like truly fascinated) with the woman’s body, soul, spirit, heart, embodiment, power… all of it. And yet, through years of school and training, it became painfully obvious: medicine was written for men. Women weren’t centered. We weren’t cared for. We were basically a side note. And I hated that. like really hated it.
So, I decided to make this page. A page where we can talk about what women actually deserve to know…the medical, the spiritual, the emotional. Because let’s be real: a textbook protocol is not going to cure the divine feminine. Never has. Never will. Most of the time, what gets labeled as a “medical condition” isn’t really medical at all. (well most of the time, not all, but most) it’s your body asking for attention, balance, rest, nourishment, or just some damn compassion.
That’s why I created Jaded. It’s for the part of you that’s tired of being measured, overlooked, or told to just “fix it” with a pill or a podcast supplement list. It’s for the part of you that’s growing, learning, and remembering who she is. The fun, sexy, sensitive, exhausted, chaotic, emotional, and empowered part. The confident but also confused part. The part that wants to cook, nourish, nurture, heal, break down, cry, laugh, and then get back up again. It’s for the woman in her 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s+. The one just starting out. The one reinventing herself. The one who’s been through it all and still shows up. Basically this space is for every version of you: the jaded version, the joyful version, the heartbroken version, the thriving version, and everything in between.
So we’re gonna talk about all of it …body image, hormones, heartbreaks, breakups, healing, food, style, soul, and the messy, magical ride of being a woman. Because wellness isn’t just physical… it’s emotional, spiritual, playful, messy, and personal.
Follow along on my journey (and yours) as we build this space together.
xoxo
Olivia Jade
