Creamy, naturally sweet, and truly satisfying—this avocado pudding is an easy recipe you’ll find yourself making on repeat. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a simple dessert without overthinking it.
I don’t know if this is a personality trait or a coping mechanism, but when I find a food or recipe I like… I eat it on repeat until it loses its magic. Like fully commit. No breaks. No variety. Just obsession with whatever it is.
When I was living in Florida, this avocado pudding was that food.
Breakfast? Avocado pudding.
Post-beach snack? Avocado pudding.
Something sweet after dinner? Chocolate Avocado pudding.
It was simple, creamy, and just sweet enough to curb the sweet tooth without going too hard.
And now… she’s back.
Because food fixations come in waves. Right now I’m deep in an oatmeal era (we’ll unpack that another day), but this recipe still holds a special place in my heart—and honestly, in my digestive system too.

Why This Combo Just Works
It’s not just vibes (although yes, the vibes are there). This actually hits a really nice balance:
- Avocado → healthy fats for satiety, blood sugar balance, and that glowy skin energy we’re all chasing
- Greek yogurt → protein to keep you full + gut-loving probiotics
- Maple syrup or raw honey → a more natural sweetness that doesn’t feel aggressive
- Cacao powder (optional but elite) → antioxidants + a subtle chocolate moment when you need it
It’s one of those recipes that feels indulgent but is secretly doing a lot behind the scenes.
The Recipe (AKA The Reason You’re Here)
Ingredients:
- 1 whole ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1–2 tablespoons organic maple syrup or raw honey
- Optional: 1–2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
(I personally prefer cacao—it’s a little richer, but taste is a preference)
Instructions:
- Throw everything into a blender
- Blend until smooth and creamy
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed
- Pour into a bowl and romanticize your life with toppings
Topping Ideas (My Favorite Part)
This is where you can make it feel new every time (important when you’re eating it daily like I was):
- Fresh berries
- Banana slices
- Granola
- Chia seeds or hemp seeds
- Nut butter drizzle
- Coconut flakes
- A little extra honey if you’re feeling it
There’s something about having a go-to meal that just hits. No thinking, no overcomplicating, no decision fatigue. Just blend, eat, and enjoy.
This avocado pudding was that for me during a season of life that felt light and sunny and easy…and bringing it back feels like reconnecting with that version of myself a little bit.
Will I overdo it again?
Probably.
Will I get sick of it eventually?
Also yes.
But for now… we vibe it out.
And if you’re like me…welcome to your next food fixation
